“WAKU” originally from Japanese, refers to a feeling of excitement and anticipation. “INWAKU” means we aim to keep this mindset to face all possibilities & impossibilities.

YuJianLian is a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) hospital brand under Qingdao Jianlian Health Management Company in China. Its business scope includes TCM clinics, TCM pharmaceuticals and sales, traditional health gift sales, and medical device development.

The main focus of this project is to establish a brand visual identity and packaging design.

The design combines the Chinese auspicious culture of "gourd(葫芦) -fú lù（福禄) , which refers to the Chinese cultural symbols of good fortune and prosperity" with traditional TCM pharmaceutical methods. It is created in the form of a picture book and modern style depiction to reflect the brand's theme of "health first, better life".
